Adding Files from Hard Drive for Downloading

Making files on your Hard Drive available for other users to download is not only easy, it is good for the Network. Another useful tip related to this topic is Adding additional Filetypes to WinMX.

First you will need to add the folders that the files you wish to share are in. Do this by clicking Shared Files, and then Share Folder.

Then you need to find the Folder you wish to add to WinMX Shared Files. In this Example is it s Directory labelled IMAX2. Next Click OK.

The network survives because people share. I run MxMonitor for the purpose of better filesharing, I usually allot a slot to auto upload people getting MP3s and other small files from me. This allows smaller files to not get bogged down in line behind the people wanting my tv series files etc.
