Adding File Types

By default, WinMX will not share all types of files on your hard drive. Only video, audio and images are enabled as defaults. But if you wish to, there are many options of types preset to enable. WinMX also allows you to add specific file extensions of your own choice.



Go to Shared Files, Shared Filetypes.

Then you will see this window

Check the boxes for filetypes you wish to add. If there are types not listed that you wish to share, you can add them into the block under other file extensions. This will enable you to share ANY type of file you desire.
