WinMX Auto Enter Queue (AEQ) and Auto Find Sources (AFS)

Auto Enter Queue (AEQ) and Auto Find Sources (AFS)

Auto Find Sources (AFS),is a command that does exactly what it says, It automatically Finds Sources for you to download the file of your choice. It give you is the ability to set how frequently it does so.

The Second is Auto Enter Queue (AEQ), This setting will automatically enter the queue of users found with AFS if they are below then number you set here (In other words it they have 10 in queue and you have it set to 15, it will, if they have 16+ in queue already it will not enter their queue).

It is also wise to set the default settings for AFS and AEQ

Below is a chart to give you some idea where to start with AEQ.

Remember if it's a rare file, and it seems that nothing is coming up with these settings, raise the AEQ incrementally for that specific download until you have success.

Remember raising AEQ too high initially could fill your with options that are unlikely to be successful. Considering there is a limit of how many users the file will queue upon ( Unknown, Dialup and ISDN limited to 6, all others limited to 16 ), a number to high risks filling slots with users with unreasonably large queues. But on the other hand, to low of a number will drastically reduce results.
