Hosting with RCMS

After you create the channel, there will be a dialogue box that is like the image below

First Tab - User List

Information regarding Users in Room. Columns are labelled in a straightforward manner. with the last column a report of last text a user typed.

Right-click a user in the UserList and you will get the following choices.

I will not cover Kick, Kickban and Ban since they are basic commands in a regular WinMX chatroom.

Redirect - used to remove a single user from your chatroom to another channel.

User Info- Gives basic Statistics, How Long a user has been in channel, total messages etc.

Clear Ghost - At times users exit channel but are still shown in Userlist. this can be used to remove them.

IP Address - Shows the Users IP address in the channel.

Private Message - Send User a Message in channel window., that is invisible to others.

Second tab - Penalty List

Penalty List will show users kicked, banned or those who entered and left before the time required.

User commands can be used by any user unless you disable USER commands. Disabling USERCMDS will not remove users ability to use #nickname, #noname and #\r\n commands.

DO NOT LIMIT BANDWIDTH IN WINMX IT WILL CAUSE ROOM TO CRASH

#ADMINCMD LOADSETTING (Host only)

Refreshes RCMSConf.txt (Chatroom settings), and any changes immediately take effect.
