Are there any tools for BitTorrent?

These are all third party options that are not specific to any BitTorrent Client.

TorrentSpy - view metadata info, check a file's hashes, etc. by querying a tracker. Also allows you to make torrent files to upload.

maketorrent - A utility for creating torrent files, Easy to use.

Java BitTorrent Tools - A metafile viewer/editor, availability checker, and a basic tracker.

BTChange 0.94a - Can use it to modify tracker info in an existing .torrent file. Used in the event the tracker changes, that way you don't have to recreate the file.

PHPBTTracker - Free tracker implementation in PHP with a MySQL back-end, includes built-in statistics collection and reporting.

DumpTorrentCGI - Web page to parse and output the contents of a .torrent file. You can either use it to examine a file on your computer, or you can provide the url of a remote torrent. Will provide information pertaining to hash, tracker and specific files included in torrent.

trackerlyze.pl 1.11 - Analyzes the logfile of a tracker and creates graphs/reports of the bandwidth used and number of peers/seeds.
